Are you a .NET developer? Got a list of strings you want to join? This is what I and almost every other developer I’ve seen does:
var values = new List<string>(); // add some values... string csv = string.Join(",", values.ToArray());
Turns out someone in the .NET framework team thought this was a bit dumb, so they quietly added a new overload in version 4.0 of the framework. This overload takes an IEnumerable<string> so now you can write:
var values = new List<string>(); // add some values... string csv = string.Join(",", values);
Just thought I’d blog that in case you’re doing the same thing!
